Stayed here for 1 night on a (07/29/2025) Tuesday and it was so beautiful and quiet! Had easy river access. Campsite was very big and spacious. Sadly we weren’t allowed any campfires due to the dry season. I could see it being crowded during the weekend. It’s first come first serve, only $15 a day which isn’t bad compared to other campsites. It’s first come first serve, only $15 a day which isn’t bad compared to other campsites. Sheriff came by one time which was nice. The only BIG down side is both SR 530 and Concrete Sauk Valley Rd are close to the campsites so you can hear every car go by and all the loud semis, so it’s hard to sleep in or even go to sleep. Overall very pleasant stay, only bathrooms available are porta potties. I’d definitely come back, but probably only during the week since it’s less crowded.

I love this site. perfect little get away and not too far away. Also reasonably priced at just 10$ per night. the sites are well kept. picnic tables, fire pit and portable potty places nearby all sites. They do not have water and there's only one good river access trail and it's a bit steep. overall a great place to go camp.

Stayed one night. Got a nice quiet spot away from everyone. And it was clean and not full of garbage. Porta potty was clean and saw the ranger drive through a few times. My site didn't have a table or specific fire ring, but someone had made a nice rock ring an a bench by it . Was A great stay. And only 15$ a night.

Quiet, cheap, sites available on Wednesday night in July. Several portable toilets and trash cans around the campground. Minus a star for no drinking water. Would be great if they could put in a well.
