Lots of beautiful picnic areas. They stock the lake every year for some great trout fishing. They have wonderful dry cabins that are close to the bathrooms, and there are gazebos with fireplaces, you can drive to all the parts of the park so it's for the most part completely wheelchair accessible, might need someone to help push but again everything is close to parking. They have paddle boat rentals in the summer. They also have a ton of camp spots and the extended camping spots at the Red mountian silver lake campground . I've been coming here since I was a kid and will continue to until I can't.

We enjoyed our 2 days! Beautiful, well-cared for, shaded campsites with individual firepit/grill. We stayed at cedar campsite. Nice shaded trail to the lake from camp. There are lodges and cabins that look nice too. The lake is delightful; peddle boats, kayaks, paddle boards, canoes can be rented. It can get crowded on weekends, esp. with the added day use peeps. Evenings were quiet. Did not have... We enjoyed our 2 days! Beautiful, well-cared for, shaded campsites with individual firepit/grill. We stayed at cedar campsite.
