Just took the horses for a walk the park is close to our home and is a beautiful place to visit. Access is difficult this time of year the road is not plowed and the gate is locked. Walking in is acceptable but the only public parking is about a half a mile East at the forest Service office. 2/18/22 Snow is starting to melt but still a couple of feet left.

My friend and I camped here for a night and loved it! We were right on the river, within a few steps. The site is a little hard to find because there is another campsite across the street from them and the GPS kept taking us to the wrong campground. But when we got there, we were warmly welcomed. Would also recommend checking out the iron goat trail and deception falls down the road from the campground. Iron goat is quite difficult, but deception falls is just a short little walk to an amazing view.
