Gorgeous weekend at Snow Lakes! We camped here for 3 nights as we explored The Enchantments and surrounding area. The lake has a bunch of awesome campsites in the forest or on the beach. The toilets are some of the worse I’ve seen but we make do. Recommend hiking up to the upper lake to get the nicest camp spots. There’s a lot of granite rock ledges that make the lakes so enjoyable and pretty to swim in. Honestly this is my favorite beach in Washington State. The lakes are beautiful! I highly encourage anyone visiting to spend time exploring the lake. First time I went I stayed in the same spot the whole time but this time, I kept finding better and better spots to hang out! Too bad the hike here is so long or else I’d come more often! 8 miles round trip from parking. Hike is HARD. Lots of uneven terrain and you have to climb boulders at times but totally worth the hike!

Really rocky 16 miles just a heads up. It was worth it, but I got mixed info on google and it’s good to know what you’re getting yourself into before you go. Also the goats are friendly, just don’t pet them

This is a great place for hiking, with great scenery and fresh air. There are waterfalls and peaks here. Many people like this place. When we arrived in the morning, the parking lot was full and we could only park on the roadside! Please be careful when going down the mountain because there are many stones on the road!

Depending on the season and where you want to start your Enchantments adventure, you could either use this as a start or an end. Of course you could also do various day hikes from here too. There is a pit toilet available, lots of information about trails on the info board. I would also like to point out that the parking lot is fairly spacious but can get really busy as this is a prime location... I would also like to point out that the parking lot is fairly spacious but can get really busy as this is a prime location. Even if you do not do a hike and just walk around the parking lot the views from the valley and the flowing stream especially at sunset or sunrise is quite amazing. I highly suggest checking it out! Happy trails!

What a gorgeous hike. The views are beautiful and it's a nice steep trail for a good workout. In early April it was snow-free until about 1.7-2 miles in, and then you have to continue your hike on snow.

Honestly, one of the best campgrounds I’ve ever been to. Self check in at the bulletin board, they take all forms of payments even tap to pay. $45/night for residents and $55/night for non-residents. The kiosk prints a ticket that you keep in your windshield. The gates to the campground close at 9pm, which means you can’t come or go after that time. The grounds are absolutely beautiful especially during sunset. Each camping lot is decently close to another but it still feels pretty secluded due to the trees and nature surrounding each lot.

An absolute gem of a campground. I 100% recommend staying here, and more than one night! They do have a reservation system but if needed, also offers a good amount of first come first served sites. The hosts were on point and making sure the area was safe. We had a miscommunication regarding our site for the 1st night but the hosts helped clear it up and we went on our merry way. We saw eagles, all kinds of marine life, it was amazing 👏

Plenty of spaces. Some you can reserve and other first come first serve. Many of the reserved ones were taken the whole weekend with no one in them. The bathrooms were pleasantly clean and nice. Even the toilet paper was stronger than most campgrounds. The camp hosts were nice. Lots of dogs. They have big open fields great for dogs or kids. They have a playgrounds that was very nice. They have a playgrounds that was very nice. A basketball court volleyball court and horseshoe tossing. Definitely check out tongue point. Super cool to sit at. Most campsites are level and have a large place to park. Lots of trailer spaces too. Multiple bathrooms throughout the grounds. Look out for raccoons!!🦝
