We are really growing to love this place. Monika, our little 'Frau Bleucher' is very accommodating and such a hard worker. Our most recent visit, even in the heat of summer, saw the sites all worked over well, watered and mowed. It is close to our home base so that is a plus, and after an exhaustive motorcycle track day in Spokane it makes for a nice night or two rest up. The fishing was GREAT on... Our most recent visit, even in the heat of summer, saw the sites all worked over well, watered and mowed. It is close to our home base so that is a plus, and after an exhaustive motorcycle track day in Spokane it makes for a nice night or two rest up. The fishing was GREAT on our mid-august 3 nighter, and the weather ran the gamut. I grew up near train tracks and my dad worked for the RR plus managed the Union 76 station here in Sprague in the 70's so it holds a little bit of nostalgia for me. Waterfront spots made it easy for my wife to launch her kayak from shore and start having fun. Not fancy, and prices have gone up all over, but this is definitely on our 3-season list of places to pull for nice time.

It was a good and comfortable spot for our 1 night stay. It's small and dated with few amenities. I wouldn't call it a resort by any means. It was pricey too, $70 for full hookups. However, the view was nice and we had a spacious site by the lake. The train runs close by so bring earplugs.

After years of driving past this lake on I-90 we decided to take detour and stay the night. The town of Sprague is not much to write home about, and the drive into the resort was also a bit sketchy. However, that final turn into the resort was surprising. It was clean, organized and well maintained. It's been owned by the same woman for 22 years, and she's been on site for 52 years! The town of Sprague is not much to write home about, and the drive into the resort was also a bit sketchy. However, that final turn into the resort was surprising. It was clean, organized and well maintained. It's been owned by the same woman for 22 years, and she's been on site for 52 years! We did a quick walk around, picked a campsite and got setup. We quickly fell in love with the simplicity of everything. She even let me borrow a fishing pole. In the evening our campsite was invaded by turtles, which was a delight, proving this place is full of surprises. It may not be the most posh RV spot on the planet, but the Sprague Lake Resort did not disappoint!

Really nice spot on the water, first day was great then the wind rolled in! It didn't bother me too much, but couldn't really be outside much. If its not packed, she let's you choose your site, I like that!

It’s not a resort. A great view of the lake and countryside, perfect for a no frills fishing trip or overnight stay along the interstate. It’s quality except for the nearby passing trains.
