Happy wife, happy life. The site was very clean. Easy to get in and get out. Very good directions. Just don’t break the rules…there’s ALOT of rules. And she’s on top of them. A very short visit from a friend (who left plenty of space on the drive for folks to get by) resulted in a knock on the trailer with an unpleasant directive to move. Bedside manner wasn’t to be found. Oh…did I mention there’s a train. A loud train. With whistles. Bring your sleep aids and earplugs.

Don’t plan on camping here if you have more than one vehicle or a boat, the woman in the front office is very rude refused to refund after paying for 2 nights we only stayed one night. First, my one star is for the worst customer service experience I have had in years. The woman who you interact while checking me in late was so rude, basically told me I will be kicked out if I couldn’t figure out the online system. Which I couldn’t because I wasn’t “tent camping” I have a roof top tent on my truck and was just looking to pay for a parking spot. So then I pay the 50$ for a tent... So then I pay the 50$ for a tent spot and still just park my truck in the gravel. She tells me check out is noon. I leave in the morning and come back at 11:30 to use the facilities before I hit the road for 4 hours, I park in an empty spot with shade so I can keep the dog in my truck, and she comes out with a full steam of gritchy, I tell her I am just using the bathroom and it’s 11:40. She tells me “you left, so checked out is checked out”. What in the absolutely world? I grounds are nice and well maintained for the RV. The tent area is a joke. And the facilities were kept up and relatively clean. Btw, I never leave these but I’ve not been talked to or dealt with like this is a long time.

Manager was rude, so worried about the rules that she forgot customer service. There was trash on the floor in the women shower stalls on Friday when we arrived and was still there on Monday when we left. Oh, and you have to pay for showers, which is ridiculous when we paid for a camp site. The grounds were clean and there is a nice dog walking area.

First this is not a hotel. It’s an RV camp so you need to adjust your questions. The camp is VERY well kept and maintained. The staff I had contact with were very friendly. The only complaint is noise. It’s flanked closely by a very busy road and train tracks, all of which run 24/7. If you have no trouble sleeping, you’re good to go. Everything else is a five star.
