Amazing afternoon stop on our way to Port Renfrew. Loved the walk along the beach and the hike into the canyon waterfall. Was pleasantly surprised to see all the surfers as this was in November!! 💪

The path down to the beach is a hill, but is easy to walk down and well maintained.. probably an almost ten minute walk to beach. Outhouses are at the bottom of the hill just before the beach. Parking lot at the top, fair amount of parking. Lots of rocks. This is along the Juan de Fuca trail, so there’s hikers crossing through.. and there is camping. We didn’t go but apparently there is a waterfall about a 25minute hike down the way to the south. I would have gone if I was on my own for sure, so I will have to check it out next time.

Easy walk with a short trail. The beach is quite rocky — can be an ankle breaker if you’re not careful — but the hidden waterfall was absolutely magical and worth the visit.

From the east trail ots about a 10 to 15 min walk (we had a 4 year old) as we stopped so many time to see cool things on the way. Parking is free, entry is free and its only a 5 minute walk to the beach

Lovely sandy beach with camping will come back! 10 minute walk down to the beach, plenty of parking but come early in the day during the summer. Prepare to bring cash for the camping fee 👍 leave no trace behind 🤝
