Great campsites a long Nason Creek. Bathrooms are convenient, and water spigots nearby. Easy and scenic walk to the Wenatchee River and Lake Wenatchee State Park with lots of trails, a beach, snack shack, and showers.

We camped at site 44, just across from the creek and we were nearest to the bathrooms. The bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper but no hand soap. There is a powerful dryer in there. Outlets as well. For 4 people, the campsite was pretty small. We also had three dogs so maybe that was it as well. It would be perfect for a couple and one or two dogs but as far as group camping I would have liked a bigger site, even though the sizes of the sites are not listed. The camp trooper came around making sure we all had our food packed away as there was a bear who had a feast a few campsites down. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about everything in the area. It is only 30 ish mins from Leavenworth, so we visited there as well. You are only 10 mins away from lake Wenatchee if you are looking for swimming. You need a discover pass which you can purchase a day pass there at lake Wenatchee if you do not have it. It is not required for nason. I would recommend staying here. We did not experience any mosquitos or bugs. It's a perfect quiet hidden gem. Looking to go again soon!

Some camp sites by the river. Woke up with river running sounds with beautiful birds songs are amazing experience. Also near to lake Wenatchee south beach. Only complaint is the mosquitoes! Never saw so many mosquitoes at one time. The the bites hurt😖

They all have a picnic table with a spot for a camp stove. They have some next to the creek which makes for beautiful resting spots. It was super hot while we were camping so we spent most of our time in the creek. There are shallow spots where you can wade in or sit, and some deeper spots you can easily swim. The wildlife are fun to watch! Chipmunks, a family of ducks, and some baby fish in the creek. Also was nice to have flushing toilets. The caretakers were out every day making sure things were cleaned and taken care of. People were friendly but not nosey. Everyone respected our privacy and appreciated their own. It's located close enough to places to eat and not too far from Leavenworth. A less expensive option than a hotel in the town. We will be going back someday.

We loved our stay here! The nature and surroundings are unbeatable. If the first few campsites are full, keep driving over the creek on the main road and there’s 20+ more sites that were wide open for us. The mosquitos are really bad unfortunately :/ We had to eat in our car or tent to avoid being bit. The location worked great for us to drive into Leavenworth during the day. Bathrooms were fine,... The hiking trails here are scenic and easy to follow, winding through wooded areas and along stretches of open prairie with views of the lake. It’s a great place to spend a morning or evening exploring the natural beauty of southern Minnesota. The campground itself is quiet, spacious, and very well kept. Campsites are clean, level, and nicely spaced, offering both open and shaded options. Electric hookups are available at most sites, and the facilities—including restrooms and water access—are in great condition. Whether you’re camping in a tent, RV, or a Mini-T Campervan, it’s an easy park to navigate and settle into. Overall, Lake Washington Regional Park is one of those local gems that delivers exactly what you want from a regional park: a clean environment, relaxing scenery, and just enough amenities to make your stay comfortable without feeling crowded or overdeveloped.

Note that there are not any pull through sites, but the sites in the middle area (not the outside of the horseshoe loop) have very long pads that will accommodate the longest RVs out there. (we were at 52' with trailer and truck and there was still a good 10' of room). The fire rings are heavy duty and nice. There are trails nearby (about 3.5 miles of trails). Trails are good for walking, hiking, running or biking (but no motorized vehicles).

Nice campground with wide, level spots. Not much for shade yet as the trees are smaller. Campground is next to a busy road so you will have some road noise. Lots of trails, some paved, gravel and grass. Has a dump site also. Would stay here again.

Very clean and cozy new campground just outside of Mankato! Close enough to Mankato to invite friends and family! It gives good ‘stay-cation’ vibes! Taking the boat out tomorrow also! The public landing is just down the road! It’s a gem!
