I would not recommend camping here as there are far too many hornets and mosquitoes. The other reviews are correct that there are not many even places to pitch a tent. Getting to the area can be somewhat challenging as it is located off a "primitive" road. I.e. lots of rocks and bumps. The positives are that it's secluded and if you go in August there are hundreds of frogs.

There is room for one camper. Beautiful area. Lots of mosquitoes. Right be the TH for Lower Chiwawa trail. Mountain bike, dirt bike, or hiking only.

If I could have rated this "spot off the road" a zero, I would have. There is absolutely no level area to camp and the 3 spots that are there are over grown and way yo difficult to setup a tent. Someone needs to re-evaluate this place as a campground.

No bathrooms but nice remote place with parking, and a little stream nearby.

When you read lots of mosquitoes believe it. You'll be giving a serious plasma donation without spray and garlic. Awesome place though.
