Well I stayed here for about a year and everything started out great. The man I rented my lot from was also on the board and he was a very kind man. Then things just started breaking like the sewer line was always needing repairs, or the cable was going out, or the final straw was that the power was supposed to be turned off for 3 to 4 days so they can move a transformer box because of a legal sui... Well I stayed here for about a year and everything started out great. The man I rented my lot from was also on the board and he was a very kind man. Then things just started breaking like the sewer line was always needing repairs, or the cable was going out, or the final straw was that the power was supposed to be turned off for 3 to 4 days so they can move a transformer box because of a legal suit they had been involved in. Also because everybody hates each other apparently in the park, the office lady fired the other office lady and so no one was there working in the office to receive packages or let people in. Towards the end, I never saw the sunshine because the trees were so overgrown and I was reprimanded for trimming my own trees to get them off my RV. The board members refuse to use reputable contractors to fix things in a speedy way which resulted in ongoing issues, water outage for 4 days, and the threat to turn the power off in the middle of winter in 20° weather when they didn't need to do it. It was only once people started getting upset that they started changing their decisions. It can be a beautiful place but the people operating it just don't know what they're doing and only serve their best interests and are always stuck in court in legal battles either suing someone or getting sued because that's how they operate instead of making rational decisions. For over the year that I lived there, I was told that there would be a dog park, certain park improvements would be made, and none of this happened due to the board bleeding themselves dry financially by either paying them themselves or taking the cheap way to around things. Could be a great place if it wasn't run by the people that it is run by and if all the snowbirds and older residents didn't know he'd each other and have personal beef. They will run you out of town if you don't have the same likes and views as they do and I saw them run many people out with their bullying. Btw, all the five-star reviews you see are people who currently own property and live in the park and are too scared to speak out or see the light. Their opinions are very biased of what's actually happening there. Oh and you will 100% share all the Bing bangs and booms from the base sometimes until 1:00 in the morning.

Visited the area based on a recommendation and was directed to view the board for RV parking information. After making the trip, I called the contact listed on the post, only to be informed that their CCRs prohibit my 2026 Forest River Cascade 20OG Destination Trailer—despite it being brand new and in excellent condition. It would have been helpful if the office screened basic eligibility over the phone to avoid unnecessary travel and wasted time. Additionally, the strict "2-persons-per-site" policy severely limits family stays. This may work for retirees or couples without children, but it certainly isn’t a family-friendly setup—unless you’re prepared to pay for multiple sites (at over $1,800/month) and have your children camp separately. Overall, it feels more like a private retirement enclave than a welcoming community. Would not recommend for families or owners of newer destination trailers which are far better in my opinion.

Lost Lake is the most amazing, unique, wonderful place! I’m sorry that Mr Chavez had such a bad experience while renting here in 2019. However valid his experience might be, it was 6 years ago and times they have changed - and in a very positive way! We are much better resort today and we keep getting better! I’m sorry that Mr Chavez had such a bad experience while renting here in 2019. However valid his experience might be, it was 6 years ago and times they have changed - and in a very positive way! We are much better resort today and we keep getting better! Our owners are no longer engaged in a legal battle with the developers! We won our lawsuit and are now totally independent from the developers. The developers still own about 20 lots that are available for purchase or rent (3 month minimum). Most recently, we purchased 53 additional acres of open land adjacent to the resort. This land has walking trails and an amazing view of Mt Rainier. First, folks need to understand that Lost Lake is NOT a commercial campground where people can come and stay for a night or two. This is a very unique “air” condominium, where the 272 lots are privately owned and have a maximum occupancy of two residents. There is an owners association with a board of directors elected by owners. The volunteer board oversees the resort, including the maintenance team and office staff. They manage the budget and day-to-day operations of the resort. Lost Lake has a mix of RV sites and lots with park model “tiny homes”. Some lots are simply bare dirt & gravel with electric, water, septic, and CATV hookups. Others have been developed to provide a more comfortable, long-term setting and may have pole barns, covered patios, storage sheds, etc., for a real “glamping” experience. Although overnight rentals are not permitted, owners can rent out their lots, provided the rental period is at least 3 months. There are also rules governing the length and age of the RV, which apply to owners and tenants. What makes Lost Lake so great? For me, I love living in the woods, while also being 15 minutes from town. It is so peaceful and quiet here - with the exception of the occasional sound of a passing train and periodic training exercises at nearby Joint Base Lewis McChord. We also love the beautiful lake, with its dock and beach, where we can fish, kayak, swim or just sit and watch the fish jump and eagles that nest here. We pay monthly dues & assessments which pay for the operation & maintenance of the resort. We have fantastic amenities, including a beautiful swimming pool complex with a spa, locker room with sauna, pool table, & fitness center. We also have two pickleball/sport courts, mini golf, a children’s playground, hiking trails, a community clubhouse with a full kitchen, a game room, laundry facility, and drop-off center for trash & recyclables. Our maintenance team keeps all the facilities well-maintained and the resort landscaping looking great. We have a vibrant community of residents of all ages. There are activities almost daily - poker, dungeons & dragons, Bunco, bingo, karaoke, board game night, potlucks, cookouts, and community plays put on by the Lost Lake Players. There is something for everyone here! If you want a special place for seasonal RVing or full-time living that is friendly & affordable, consider buying a place here I. Lost Lake Resort.

Everything here is well maintained and I feel every attempt is made to preserve the natural beauty of the resort.
