Went with a group of friends during the weekend and rented 2 sites, 7 & 8. Both the site pads and location were nice, convenient to the bathrooms and you can see the stars very clearly. Out of the two sites, 7 was in full sun most of the day. In general the campground was very enjoyable and quiet, everyone respected sleeping hours plus the white noise of the Suiattle River drowns out most neighbor... Out of the two sites, 7 was in full sun most of the day. In general the campground was very enjoyable and quiet, everyone respected sleeping hours plus the white noise of the Suiattle River drowns out most neighbors. The Sulphur Creek is great for a refreshing drip after a long day hiking or just enjoying nature in the heat. Right underneath the bridge is a nice pool like area that wasn’t as rough as upstream. The drive to the site is about an hour on the gravel road with lots of potholes, highly suggest to take a SUV or bigger, sedans will definitely bottom out but it is passable if done slowly. We saw other campers pulling trailers, but slow going as well. The only two complaints (I think they could be easily fixed and disappointed that have not yet) is that the message board has a grossly inaccurate map of the campground, I think it was dated 2012, and it has changed alot! The reservation portal, Recreation.gov, reflects the outdated map when veiwing sites in "map view". Do to this I made a new map to help others to select and find their site easily (image attached) 😊. The second is the broken lock of the single bathroom (it had a sign on the door that looked like it had been there a while) . All in all great and enjoyable experience, would come back again.

The campground is clean and well maintained. There are waterless bathrooms available, and the sites had good room. Now, you just have to try and find the sulphur pools on the hike that starts across the road.

Map for the campsite numbers is way off on recreation.gov. Site #6 is small but has water access! Roads are in horrible condition, potholes everywhere. Last 11 miles took about an hour.
