We went for a company picnic. Clean bathrooms, kids play areas, nice trails. We had a great time. I wish we brought swim suits!

He was taken from his mother due to neglect. I was not able to provide the mandatory shot records. I am on social security and had to borrow the money to send him to camp. He did not attend due to the shot records. I advised the person that called two days before camp. Yet today I received a visa bill for the entire camp balance of some 500$. How is that FAIR? How can a community based organization be so hard hearted?? Due to a neglectful parent and a grand parent trying to help??????

Booked this camp for 50-100 guests for my book club retreat, myself along with many guests were very excited about this trip, we had people as far as Idaho and even Colorado and Utah putting in vacation time and travel hours to be there. We paid the required deposit upon booking and began to plan our weekend itinerary, we inquired via email about the lodge sleeping lay out and about rv spots with no response, we didn’t think much of it and carried on. Fast forward 5-6 weeks and we complete payment for our weekend retreat, immediately upon payment we finally received an email back, not in regards to our questions but instead to inform us that the listing was incorrect and only covered 50 or less people, SARAH CHANNEL the booking agent listed on the website proceeded to tell us she would have to adjust the rates, again this is after we paid in full and over a month after our deposit. We informed her we weren’t entirely sure we were even gunna have more than 50 guests, we booked the entire camp for privacy sake and small groups of guests had plans to use the cabins as small private areas for rest etc while we gather for activities in the main lodge. Once this discussion started, then the reason we might not be able to use the facilities we paid in full for was because the cabins are not winterized (heated or insulated). We responded by telling her our guests are fully aware of the gear they need to bring to be comfortable while sleeping we just need assurance they will be open for use since we paid. It was clear that they were available if we paid more money, granted we already paid almost 3 thousand dollars. We explained that the incorrect add wasn’t our fault and issue, where she responded telling us she was new and is working with them to sort stuff, After these back and forth emails, we politely asked if there was a superior or upper management we could speak to to get this sorted out. After that email was sent we didn’t receive anything for the next few hours and when we finally did, it was an email stating our booking was canceled and a refund was being sent, zero explanation of why, even though our interactions were completely civil and professional on our end. Once again, this all transpired within a 3 hour period from the time we paid in full for the venue. Sarah is very unprofessional and I hope this facility reconsiders her employment, people have applied for time off and invested money and time into travel for a date that now has no venue, our guests getaway is completely ruined. When guests are held accountable and or punished for the mistakes of staff, you’re doing it wrong.
