Miles is a great host and both helpful and friendly. The park is very well kept, has good, clean water, and a small playground for the kids. Wildlife, AKA, the bunnies, seem to own the place. All different kinds of colors in their little pack. Definitely would come again. Was told their WiFi was just upgraded. It is very fast but not very reliable, constantly dropping the signal. Was told this is due to others using Starlink and it is why their signal get screwed up. NOT likely, more likely is that the router is programmed to limit bandwidth for the address that it assigned to your connection. If Starlink could do what they say, we would always have the problem whenever we were near someone who uses the satellite link...

UPDATE: Our relatives ended up finding a spot at CEDAR and SURF in Ocean Park and it was absolutely wonderful! My former co-workers parents owned it for many years and the new owners are doing a wonderful job. Close to the beach and much better accommodations than Andersens. We all had a delicious dinner and visit and our company extended their stay at Cedar and Surf because they were so accommodating. Cedar and Surf will get my vote for the place to stay on the Long Beach Peninsula! We have a home in Ocean Park and have had vacation property since the 1970's. We had relatives visiting from California that have reservations this weekend. They decided to have a small dinner at their site this evening with 6 guests and were told when they checked in that each guest and each vehicle has a charge of $5 and maximum guests are 6. Today they went to pay the woman running the campground and were told because it was the 4th of July weekend they couldn't have guests even though dinner was on Thursday the 3rd. The woman was completely rude and when the guests said they have never been spoken to so rudely the woman immediately kicked them out and said they had one hour to get out or she was calling the police. My mother who is 83 years old with physical limitations tried to stop in yesterday and say hi to our company before she knew about the $5 per vehicle and $5 per guest rule. She pulled in and started to look for their site number and immediately this rude woman came to my mom's truck window and started telling her she couldn't come in without the registration at the office. My mom said she was just driving through and wasn't staying and had never heard of anything like this and the woman said it’s standard now. Anyway just a nasty nasty person that had an attitude from the start. I would not recommend staying at this park.

The only good thing is the location camping spots are way to close the rules are dumb. If you have dogs you can’t set up a small fenced off area(such a hassle to leash them up to go potty everytime). They drive past every site every hour of the day. Very strict place.. we have no access to public showers great distance from the beach tho

Maybe the most private, spacious RV camp on the peninsula. Perfect access to the Beach. No restrooms or showers which is the only drawback, but a big one in my book. MGMT told me there are plenty of other RV options if you want those amenities.

We have stayed here for 3 years in a row now. We really like the closeness to the beach, short walk. We love how quiet it is and the spacing available between RV's. The staff are very helpful and nice. It's a perfect place for us and we will continue to come back.
