I don't usually post but I feel urged to post! First off I know that it's slow season but even at that I am disappointed at the state of cleanliness, attending of the office and attention to guests! If you advertise open all year round-have someone available all year round (never actually greeted and no actual personal contact-unless you count the gal that told us to park diagonal in the spot which was barely marked)! We stayed in the Sea studio! I didn't realize when we booked that there was a cleaning fee! That would not have been a problem if the room was clean! A hair clip left on the lamp, bloody booger in the shower, ceiling tiles falling down, dust everywhere, musty smell-not to mention the outside! I did wash the dishes with Meyers hand soap (no actual dish soap)! Before and after the decon rat poison under the counter and sink! We had several family members come down to dig clams and were planning on having dinner and using the game room but after being notified it would be $5 each additional guest (even during winter-not full at all) they went elsewhere! I have never went to a hotel/resort where you couldn't even get a bit of ice for your room (big sign-don't take ice-pay for it)! Last but not least- at around midnight we heard a terrifying howling noise coming from the left kitchen window area-just adjust the crank and the monster will go away! Sorry but I would not recommend staying in a room-it may be better in an RV/tent site. Good Luck!

We called in the evening for a very-last minute reservation and they had space for us and didn’t have a problem with late arrival. I mention that because some places do. I mention that because some places do. Pulling in at dark was no problem, having vacant spaces on each side probably helped. Very nice and thorough on the phone, and host welcomed us in person the next morning. Waking up to the ocean view was so cool. They were very accommodating and couldn’t be nicer. We were able to fill our propane there, which was great. Fun rec room for rainy days. And also a laundry room, which we desperately needed. Wandering Goose restaurant is across the street (we went twice in as many days) and we also walked to the Tokeland marina to get fish from the market (which turns out is more of a gift shop than fish market these days), it was a great walk nonetheless. Thank you for a great stay, we can’t wait to come back!

Spent my honeymoon at the RV Park and stayed in the room next to the office. It was Rustic, but the view and the quiet was amazing. Nobody was there due to it being the off season which made our trip perfect. I would definitely stay there again.

We are so thankful to Bayshore RV for being so accommodating with our last-minute date change. We were bummed to have to cancel because of a sick kid, but they made it so easy to adjust our reservation. Now we get to look forward to enjoying our stay another weekend when everyone is happy and healthy. Their kindness and flexibility really stood out—highly recommend!

We stayed in our travel trailer. The area is beautiful and the park is across from the Tokeland Hotel (a treat in itself). The newer owners are really doing some good things at the resort.
