We stayed for a month over the winter. Couldn't have asked for better accommodations. It's very quiet and peaceful. Easy access to many hiking trails. The staff are amazing. If you're looking for a quiet place outside of the city in a beautiful atmosphere, this is it!

We actually had a fairly lovely experience camping here in our trailer, but don’t think the place is quite up to higher star rating (yet?) The good: lots of old growth trees nearby, lovely tent sites with a creek, price is decent for a full hook up site, friendly staff, looks like they’re doing things to improve - while we were there they were patching up pot holes and making the roads nice. The old railroad tracks make for a fun adventure/walk and are accessible from the park. Lots of wildlife (hummingbirds, woodpeckers, robins, squirrels). And a few resident cats! The bad: 90% of the sites are taken up by long term rentals and majority of them take up the best spots, the pool has clearly not been in use or taken care of in a long time (a „resort” this is not), even with all the beautiful greenery there’s not a lot of privacy - we had no neighbours on our trip so it was nice, but on a full-packed summer weekend this would be uncomfortable. Not a ton to do around here without having to drive somewhere. No opinion: didn’t use the facilities (laundry or bathrooms) so don’t have anything to say on that front - but they’re there. Ultimately there’s a ton of potential with this space - we hope to see it improve in the future!

I really enjoyed my one night stay here. My tent site was private and was soft grass. I feel like screaming when I am given a tent site that is gravel. Not here though soft barefoot grass. Easy and friendly check in also . Hot showers are included. Nice long hot showers. I am not giving five stars because there is no provisions on site such as food or beer. Otherwise everything is great .

As we came by to check on availability for one night around 6PM, we were lucky there still was a spot. Service was fast and easy. Overall a very quiet campground, all in good condition (Site 9), facilities were clean.
