I first moved here due to a life crisis which has passed. I have witnessed several management changes and sometimes severe management challenges during my residence here which explains the mixed reviews up to this point. About 2 years ago an excellent management team arrived and since then this place has been more consistent with the rules, the rent has stayed the same and a general atmosphere of peace and stability have been instituted. As my personal challenges cleared up I was planning on moving but decided to stay after the new, more professional management team took over and made it a really great place to be. I will be moving on in about another year I figure but am thankful to have an affordable option to live at until then. Rating: 2 years ago - 2☆ Now- 5☆

We needed a place to stay for at least a week at a time as we were selling our house fairly near here, so the rate we got was a weekly rate. This is a well maintained RV park with mostly long term residents but we did not have an issue getting a spot. We were here for 2 weeks in July and again for 2 weeks in September. Very friendly staff and residents. The showers and laundry are well maintained... The showers and laundry are well maintained as well as the park as a whole. Picked this over a closer county park because we felt safer here and and also because the park store is great with reasonable prices. One of the best features is that in the office with the store they offer freshly made pizza, burgers, breakfast sandwiches and more. We got pizza a few times and it is great! We didn't try the other offerings but they have frequent visits from locals for their food so I am guessing it is all pretty good. Also there is that the Foothills Trail goes literally right by the park and is a great bike and walking path. Just a short walk away is a small park where we saw families having picnics and swimming in the river/creek. There is also a playground at the opposite end of that park. Bonney Lake is 10 minutes away with Safeway, Target, Fred Meyer, Costco, Walmart and many other stores and shops. The sites are mostly gravel but pretty level. The 5 MPH speed limit is enforced with speed bumps and well respected in areas without speed bumps. They also sell propane for a very good price. We would definitely return if the need arises. A downside is wifi they offer is Tengolnternet and it is not very reliable ---the connection comes and goes and is not HD when it does work, so not so good for streaming video. We used our T-Mobile phones as hotspots and that worked just fine.

Review for store only: I love to take my kids to Veteran’s park to cool off, this is our go to for snacks & drinks. We LOVE Steve’s hot smoked cheese and salmon, and they sell both! We tried the pizza and a burger..it was very mid…but edible. Gas station style food. Good selection of convenience store items. Nice staff and quick service!

Nice place to stay. Mostly gravel sites and paved roads. They have done major upgrades to wifi. Its available over whole park. The cable is digital so you need to check out a box and call to activate. There are quite a few channels. On a clear day you can see Mt Rainier. Store has long hours and a nice variety of snacks and beverages. Their rates are very competitive.
