We recently stayed there for 3 days. It was beautiful! The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom was extremely clean. Our spots were by the highway so there is a bit of traffic noise. We stayed overnight here for my 72nd BD, right after Labor Day, and were very pleased. We stayed in the only 2 bdrm cabin they had (the Wolf Cabin) and it was large, all beautiful oak with a huge, very comfortable king bed. 2nd bdrm was smaller but had another big bed, though softer and not as firm. It was pretty tall, so you might need a stepping stool to get on it, esp. if you're short or have kids using it. Beautiful wolf pics and wall hangings all over, nice size bathroom and a very big patio, w/table and chairs facing the campground and river. I had sev. mobility issues and called with questions beforehand sev. times, and they were very sweet answering them, even calling to say we cld check in early. They have brand new owners who chatted with us sev. times and were very receptive to suggestions abt a few things we had problems with. He said nothing had been updated in almost 10 yrs and they plan to do just that. The onsight restaurant has been closed for awhile and hopefully they'll find someone to reopen that. Can't wait to go back.

The sites along the river are the best, but some are best suited for short or small rigs. They have some full hook up sites with sewer, but they seem to only be on the highway and on a specific part of the park where there are a lot of long term trailers. They do not have an open dump station. The store is well stocked, the grounds are well kept. There are showers, toilets, pool and kids play area. The staff are all very nice and happy to chat or share info about the area.
