About Thousand Trails Long Beach

Campground in Washington.

Thousand Trails Long Beach offers RV travelers a wonderful gateway to one of Washington's most beloved coastal destinations. Located in Long Beach, Washington, this RV park provides convenient access to the expansive sandy beaches and charming seaside community that have made this area a favorite Pacific Northwest retreat for generations.

The Long Beach Peninsula is a remarkable stretch of coastline known for its wide, hard-packed beaches that extend for miles. Whether you're interested in beachcombing, surfing, or simply taking leisurely walks along the shore, the natural beauty here is exceptional. The peninsula's beaches are among the most accessible and visitor-friendly on the Washington coast, attracting families, photographers, and nature enthusiasts throughout the year.

Beyond the beaches, the Long Beach area offers plenty to explore. The nearby town of Long Beach features a classic boardwalk atmosphere with local shops, restaurants, and galleries that showcase the region's character. The community has maintained much of its vintage charm while welcoming modern travelers. You'll find fresh seafood restaurants, ice cream shops, and craft breweries that reflect the local culture and coastal lifestyle.

The surrounding region provides excellent opportunities for outdoor recreation and wildlife viewing. Willapa Hills and the Willapa Bay area offer scenic drives and hiking opportunities for those wanting to venture slightly inland. Birdwatchers particularly appreciate this region as it sits along the Pacific Flyway, making it an excellent spot for observing migratory birds throughout the seasons.

The park serves as an ideal base for exploring multiple attractions without constantly relocating your RV. You can spend mornings beach combing, afternoons exploring local attractions, and evenings enjoying fresh seafood and ocean sunsets. This location works wonderfully for families seeking a relaxing beach vacation, couples looking for a romantic coastal getaway, and solo travelers wanting to experience Washington's iconic coastline.

The relatively mild Pacific Northwest climate means the area is accessible and enjoyable during many seasons, making Thousand Trails Long Beach a versatile destination for year-round RV travel.

We took our camper. The walk to the beach was about 8 minutes We walked through a short trail that went through beautiful forest and then onto the beach. The beach sand was almost black and very fine. Very soft. The beach was really clean and we were able to have an open fire on it. The walk to the lighthouse was amazing. I rate this place as being excellent

Love the proximity to the beach (an easy walk straight from camp), the deafening frog 🐸 songs 🎵 at night, and the community in general. Camp hosts are all friendly and helpful, and all sites are upgraded 50/30amp! Sites are a bit tight, but less congested in the winter which is when we are there.

The space is pretty tight and not sure if there is a park host on site. There is a manic lady screaming for over an hour yelling/fighting her self and her poor dog from 11pm till now... It's 1150PM (12/12). The dog is also loose barking around.... Unfortunately I think it's the trailer next to mine. Yea, I called the cops since I gave it time for someone from the site to go over regarding the noi... The space is pretty tight and not sure if there is a park host on site. The main driver of this place is the close proximity to the beach. Other than that, your trailer is very close to each other like at a parking mall. I do not recommend this place.

The campground is a gravel parking lot let's be honest. The spaces were tight for us in our 39' fifth wheel. With the slides out we didn't have much space between us and our neighbors. Water, power, and sewer were solid and no issue.

I have mixed reviews about this RV Resort. When we arrived we were welcomed with this sign that said to please lock your bicycles, propane tanks and grills due to recent theft. I asked the gal in the front office if they had theft lately and she said that at the beginning of the season they were having issues. This didn’t make us feel good rat all. Then when we pulled into our site, the sites are... I have mixed reviews about this RV Resort. The only thing going for this campground is the location, it is a short walk to the beach and it is right next to a gorgeous trail. It was a short drive to Long Beach or Cape Disappointment state park. They do provide you with an entry code to the campground and offer amenities such kids games, a pool and a TV room which we didn’t explore. Overall is a bit pricey for what you get but the location makes us for it.
