VERY well maintained campground with 2 docks. A Discovery pass is needed but definitely worth it. They have shower facilities too. There are also hiking trails that are very beautiful. Very quiet during the week. Enjoy!

Harstine island is a remote island just outside of Shelton, Wa with a deer population that out numbers the residents 5 to 1. So be mindful as you drive over the Harstine Island Bridge to this hidden gem, being careful to watch for the borderline domesticated deer. There are many! But dont go feeding the wildlife! Once you arrive you will find a small but well maintained resort with public bathrooms, campsites and rv hookups. There is the Spencer Lake Bar and Grill restaurant and gas station/store a mile or so before the bridge that boasts, great pizza, cocktails and dancing, with gas, propane diesel and other amenities across the street. So take a weekend and check out Jarrell Cove State Park and Spencer Lake Bar and Grill next time your in the Mason County zip code. You wont be disappointed!

I love camping at this place, the bathrooms are clean and showers are free. There are little paths and 2 docks. Very lovely small campsite. but there were so many squirrels or chipmunks trying to get our food. We had to put our food in the tent when we were gone and they got into our trash overnight so bring a tub for food

A nice quiet place to hang camp. It wasn't very busy when we were there. The deer were walking around eating the apples from the apple trees. There are a couple hiking trails around the park
