The drive was so beautiful and making our way to the beach was even more beautiful. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a more enjoyable beach in my life, you can’t see the end of the beach on both sides- it is so huge it looks like it goes on forever. Also, not many people were there which made it more intimate and nice. We met a super sweet, beautiful couple Mike & Linda who offered to take our fam... We walked and ran around the beach, letting our feet touch the sand. A wonderful experience and I can’t wait to go back there someday. Washington is so beautiful. I never thought it would captivate my heart the way it did.

It's close to a sandy beach, and that's about all I can say that positive about it. The camping tent spaces are the smallest I've ever seen. It's barely big enough for a 4 person tent. The campsite is split up strangely. It's on two separate roads and GPS doesn't know that. The gal with pink hair who runs the check in area wasn't the friendliest. I felt like a bother to her when we traveled acros... It's close to a sandy beach, and that's about all I can say that positive about it. The camping tent spaces are the smallest I've ever seen. All the food we brought needed to be cooked, and that's on us. But we weren't expecting it and she acted like we were stupid, so now I feel stupid lol. We made the best of it, and I'm very glad we went either way. The ocean is beautiful when it's raining like this.

It's a beautiful park and nice campground. Visited over Labor day. The short walk out to the beach from the West side campground is special as you traverse the tall-grass covered dune and emerge with sweeping views of the Pacific and miles of sand. Interpretive trail is ok for a short walk in the forest as well. The campground itself is decent for tent camping. Would definitely try to get a site... It's a beautiful park and nice campground. Would definitely try to get a site on the west loop so you don't need to cross the highway to get to the beach (there is a lighted crosswalk). Sites are close together and near the bathrooms you'll have the lights on all night. Loud campers late into the night and not sure who to call, but eventually things quieted down. We had great hot showers for 2 of 3 nights and then the last night it was lukewarm. Facility cleanliness met expectations. Bugs weren't horrible - certainly not the clouds of mosquitoes referenced in previous reviews, but imagine there's some seasonality.

Nice beach to walk, you can find sand dollars, empty sea shells and some agate along the tide line, and saw some people digging for razor clams. The sun set was beautifull!

Great place for those not quite into driving on the beach! Bathroom facilities, picnic tables, adequate parking. There are several trails into the dunes to the north. My dogs get as much out of them as they do the beach!
