Huntington is popular during peak season. Reserve 2-4 weeks in advance for weekends and holidays.
Most parks have check-in after 1:00 PM and check-out by 11:00 AM. Call ahead if you'll arrive late.

A little more than we like paying per night. We just camp in tents. On the other hand, it's very nice campground. We fished quietly till 4 am and caught this guy. Had my kids with us and they had a blast. Thank you very much Beach Fork Campground. Facilities were clean and everything works.

Good, clean spots with great views or shaded privacy available. Our spot was more of shaded privacy. The amenities here are great. However we had electric only service. (30amp/110v service only). A added bonus that isn't listed in other places is WiFi ( it gets congested quickly). But early morning or mid day you can stream just fine. Tons of WiFi nodes all over. Most of not all spaces are covered... Good, clean spots with great views or shaded privacy available. Our spot was more of shaded privacy. The amenities here are great. The State Park could easily just crack down on most of my complaints since most of them are rules already. 1. Kids and E-Bikes, older kids like 13-16 are terrorizing the camping areas (unlined roads) these kids are doing 20+MPH and not paying attention. They continue even at dusk/dark. The worst offenders don't even run headlights and continue to speed at night. 2. Trash burners, we had a family move into the space next to ours and within the hour the were burning a large black bag of trash. 3. Get rid of the golf carts or at least make it so only adults can drive. I had many times where if I wasn't paying close attention they would have run me over walking to the bath house.

We love our stays here! We’ve stayed in the four coves both times because of our toddler, it’s nice to have the park near by. (There are several playgrounds) The bath houses are always so clean and a short walk. The campground is always so well maintained, even when it looks quite busy it’s still very quiet at night. We will definitely be back again!

This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to. The sites are a nice size. They have nice trails and summer activities for the children. They have a camp store and a game room where the office is located. The only downfall is that there is limited full hookup sites and those sites are on top of each other. They recently added more water sites to Moxley which is nice. The rest of the sites... This is one of the best campgrounds I have ever been to. The sites are a nice size. The rest of the sites is electric only but still nice sites with lots of waterfront sites. Staff is amazing. Before I end, a little advice, do not feed the geese. They are everywhere and they will hangout at wherever they are fed. I have spent a good hour just cleaning up after them before I could set up camp. I wish half of them would migrate elsewhere. I forgot to mention that beechfork also has a public pool. Campers still have to pay full price for pool entry. I think that should be changed to where campers only have to pay half to get into the pool. Beechfork is my #1 campground.

Great place to camp. Just need some more fish stocked in there!
