Neighboring cabins and homes are visible from the northern loop of this campground, but the southern loop offers a slightly more rustic experience. Amenities include a hand pump for drinking water and several vault toilets. Electricity will be coming to a portion of sites here in the near future. This is one of - if not the only - campground in the Chequamegon Nicolet with actual designated flat tent pads framed by wood. Not all but many sites here have them, and it's certainly a nice amenity for tent campers.

Ii like this Campground.sites are wooded and fairly easy to back into. You can buy wood nearby but there's plenty of wood laying on the ground. There is a boat launch but it's not maintained and you can't launch large or heavy boats cause it's to shallow. They're are lauches you can drive to nearby. The forest service are useless and out to lunch. All in all I would go back to camp here.

Terrific Northwoods camping. Fishing is best late spring thru 4th of July although other nearby lakes in the area produce well after that. Nice beach for the kiddos.
