Stayed before July 4th weekend so First Come First Served was in effect. Only 2/3 of the sites available due to remaining snow drifts. Day time was really warm and yet evenings cooled to the 50’s. Very nice location down 5 miles of gravel road. One family of about 7 along with their large trailer camped there and found a spot to fit into. Unfortunately they ran their damn generator from 6:30am through mid-afternoon. Truly annoying and it chased a few out of the campground as a result. Saw two moose near the lake one evening (out of three).

Awesome campground 😀! The hosts were friendly. They have clean restrooms and we were lucky to have a good spot. You just have to walk few minutes for the lake . The campsites were well maintained . We forgot to buy some firewoods but picking firewoods was allowed so we just had to pick some . I also like that they have the pump where you could get water for cooking and all. Great Campground. Not a ton of privacy, but beautiful setting and great location for hiking, hunting, fishing. A ways off the paved road so quite private. Bathrooms were clean. Our 18' trailer would have fit in any of the sites by the look of it.

Beautiful views! Clean pit toilets. Snow just left the grounds in July ( and its a lake) so take plenty of mosquito repellent for you and your surroundings.

If you can get a site, You’re in for a real treat! It’s beautiful! The campground hosts were friendly and helpful. Campground is clean and actually does have some first come first serve sites. Road to the campground is bad, so drive slow! The trail at the campground was rocky but very nice due to gradual rise to the lakes. Absolutely beautiful!
