Small campground ten sites. Shady except 10 an 11 get a little hot with little shade. But you have the creek to cool off in. Site 7, 8 are great tent sites. Very secluded. 4an 5 are walk in an along the creek. Great little park.

I'd been in several campgrounds and this is to stay close to Yellowstone east entrance. We stayed just a night leaving the park towards Devil's tower. The mountains around are very impressive, it was a very windy and hot night. First days of August.

Favorite campground I've ever stayed at. Was there with a group in mid July for one night on our way to Yellowstone and we all wished we could've had more time. So beautiful and peaceful. I'm anti gatekeeping but this campground makes me understand why people do.

I really loved camping here. Spacious sites, quiet and with the sound of the river, I might have slept the best I ever have on a camping trip. Very clean bathrooms, just the garbage was overflowing and didn't seem to be emptied regularly. Convenient to climbing and worth the splurge!

Lots of camp sites. I love this area with climbing rocks for kids. spaced out camp sites. There is a nearby reservation camp site with amenities but also first come spots without amenities. There is a board near the entry that posts camp fire restrictions, which can differ from Jeffco main site.

Beautiful location, nice roomy spots for camping with flat areas and picnic tables at each, and the bathrooms were as good as one could expect from a camp toilet. What ruined our experience was the camp host’s generator that ran, very noisily, all hours of the day. When asked about it, I was informed “quiet hours are 10-6”. Thank goodness it went off at night so anyone could sleep! We were one of... Thank goodness it went off at night so anyone could sleep! We were one of the closest camp sites to the generator, but in a walk around the area, you could still hear the generator on the opposite side of the campground. We will find better ambiance elsewhere for our next camping trip.

All of the campsites seemed crammed in right on top of each other with little privacy between spots, and it’s pretty loud- someone had their bass going from 1am-3am. The campsite hosts ghosted us when we tried to knock on the door to see if we could switch spots. Not sure I’d come back, there’s too many other better sites out there!

Gets pretty busy during the weekends. Inner loop are the fist come first serve site with about 5 that can accommodate trailers or rvs. Camp host was a bit to inquisitive and pushy. Reminded you every 30-45 mins when he drove by that he sells firewood and bottled water at the host site. Creek isnonly a short walk away and nice to cool off in on a hot day. On the weekends people drive a rad too fast... Gets pretty busy during the weekends. Close enough to the vaulted toilets and dumpster but far enough away that you dont smell anything. Limited services and goods about a thirty 30 min drive away on rough dirt roads so pack enough water and food.
