Such a great spot! Easy access off the highway, large sites, trees & views, short hike to a waterfall, doggie (or human) swimming hole at the entrance to the trail. Electricity in loop A. B sites are primitive. Bill was a great host in loop A.

Wow this was great. We got here on a Monday night, at 10 pm (July 21, 2020) and there were plenty of spots, and they were all gorgeous. We could barely see our neighbors, and were able to bike to the falls. $15 for no hookup, $20 for hookup. There was only one water pump we saw at the entrance, bear boxes and clean pit toilets. Beautiful sky, little trails, huge trees, and animals! Lots of groun... Wow this was great. This campground was wonderful. It was tucked in the Shoshone Forest, with some gorgeous mountains in the background. We absolutely loved our week camping here.

Lovely campground at about 8350' elevation. Low temps can be in the 30s or 40s even in summer. Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. Notes for tent campers and lovers of peace and quiet: Loop A has electrical hookups for RVs, which means no generators, so we stayed there. Loop B does not, so you might have to listen to loud generators running, although I believe they are supposed to stop at 10 pm.... Lovely campground at about 8350' elevation. That said, Loop B is more spread out, is farther from the highway, had more space when we were there, and is closer to the short trail to the falls.

I travel full-time and this is hands down, one of my favourite campgrounds. Stunning mountain views and beautiful fall colours when I visited in early September. It's only an hour drive to the Tetons and 22 miles into town. Service is spotty. If you have TMobile, you'll be better off. You start getting service about 2 to 5 miles if you make a left toward the Tetons when you leave the park. If you... I travel full-time and this is hands down, one of my favourite campgrounds. If you have TMobile, you'll be better off. You start getting service about 2 to 5 miles if you make a left toward the Tetons when you leave the park. If you make a right, you won't get service until the last big turnoff before you get to town. My Verizon didn't work well in either direction. This is bear country, so bring bear spray and follow the camp host's guidelines. Everyone was friendly and all the facilities were very well taken care of.
