Beautiful campground, some sites not awesome for bigger rigs (the closer you are to the vault toilets and parking circle for tent sites, the better). No host, so camp at your own risk as far as other campers being respectful. Between incessant unnecessary, loud noise from the site across from ours and folks arriving and making noise at 2:30 a.m. at the site next to ours, we cut our first vacation... This is a very nice camp ground. The forest service staff maintains it well, and hope the visitors respect the work it takes to keep the grounds up. The drive to the grounds is made up of dirt roads, so it is best to drive using an AWD vehicle. Bathrooms are available, and no electricity or WiFi are available so it is great for those who need to unplug.

It's in a beautiful and rather isolated part of Southeast Wyoming. Fees are reasonable, and the campground is clean but rustic. The trailhead up Laramie Peak is just a few yards away, so it's very handy for hikers as well.

Very nice campsite. The drive in was what made it the best. 2 hrs on a gravel road with beautiful views of the open range and the mountains.

Sad to see that this once quiet escape is now a loud, busy ATV playground. Bathroom was disgusting and out of toilet paper.
