It is only a 3.5 mile hike, but it gets fairly steep at parts. We went as a church group with our young woman and it was doable enough for them. We hiked to the top, had lunch and were able to ride the tram back down. It is free to go back down if you don't have enough energy. There are restrooms at the top and breath taking view of the Tetons.

Such a beautiful place! Many hiking trails and the rivers are gorgeous. Just be careful, because elevation sickness is a real thing.

It's not often you find a group site that still has trees. The fence needs to be repaired to keep the cows out. There are a few bridges across it from what looks like boy scout service projects. There are areas to put large tents, or lots of small spaces for small tents. It's well shaded in the tent area. No shade over the picnic tables, but a tarp canopy can be rigged. Or even a pop-up canopy would work as the trees do great at dampening the wind (turns gusts into a breeze).
