Such an amazing campground in Wyoming. Close to Laramie for food/gas/charging and more. The campground was a nice little loop, with a water pump and trash service. The water pump was a hand pump, but that was fine. The breeze every now and then was nice. Just, the bugs were annoying. When I came here in August, there were far less bugs. So I recommend coming in August.

Beautiful campground with quick access to trails. Loved the privacy of most of the sites. Bathrooms are a bit far from most of the sites and you pretty much have to walk through other people's campsites to get to them or walk around the entire circle. Weird design. It isn't super noticeable but a bit distracting when you are trying to sleep in the peacefulness of nature.

We took a look around this campground as we were camping in the area in September 2022. The campground was about one third full which is good for a weeknight. This campground is of lower elevation, many more mature shady trees and closer to I-80. Some traffic noise from the interstate and with the trees and stream may be more buggy but much more protected from the wind. No water in the off season and maybe all year. No electric. We saw a number of medium size RV's. only some spaces are pull thru. The rest are roughly 20 foot back-in. Three sets of vault toilets. There is a nice stream below the campground. Fee was $10 per night. We have included some photos to give you some idea of the facilities and sites.

Sweet campground for $5 a night. We have the senior pass, one of the few benefits of getting old. We had site 9 and just loved it for 1 night. You can hear a little highway noise but we don't care.

Amazing hiking trails! Be aware of the brown bears and if possible bring bear horn! It would be so much rare to see a bear but why not carrying the horn just in case 😜
