Many beautiful camp sites, several with views of the lake. It’s a rugged natural lake, so you may have to walk or even drive to access the water. Sites further from the entrance tend to have more trees. If possible, avoid a site near the frequent speed bumps. The noise as people drive loaded trucks and boats can’t be ignored. The camp attendants keep the toilets and common areas immaculate.... Many beautiful camp sites, several with views of the lake. There are huge potholes on the road from the main highway to the campground, so pay attention as you drive in or you’re likely to break an axle.

Nice campground with clean sites and restrooms. Really cool glacial geology. Only concern is the speed that people drive in the campground. Although speed bumps have been installed, drivers are still going overly fast. Have kids who want to ride bikes or if you want to go for a walk? Be cautious. We were in site 50, right at the exit/entrance. I wouldn’t recommend this site because of driver’s s... Nice campground with clean sites and restrooms. Really cool glacial geology. We had a wonderful time at Fremont Lake! The campground was clean, easy to set up our 35 ft. T. trailer. Nice big picnic table, fire pit. Nice clean beautiful beaches. Close to Pinedale for groceries, music shopping.Short scenic drive up the mountain range to find trails, other lakes and Wind river mountain range views. So much to do we want to go back.

Camlsites in the back section were nicely spaced out. Beautiful lake. Not too crowded. Great kayaking spot - just go early before the boats and jet skis start to get on the lake. Found a great cove with a weathered dock on the other side of the lake.

Nice large developed CG on a beautiful lake. Only 6.1 mi from Pinedale on paved road entire way but some potholes along the way. This is the best CG in area for most folks with TTs and RVs (tents not so much), as cg loops are paved and amenities/camp hosts present. 50 sites total, 16 sites are FF, rest can be reserved. $12 nite/$6 senior, 14 d limit. This is the best CG in area for most folks with TTs and RVs (tents not so much), as cg loops are paved and amenities/camp hosts present. 50 sites total, 16 sites are FF, rest can be reserved. $12 nite/$6 senior, 14 d limit. Water spigots scattered around but no TT/RV dump and no full hookups. Cell signal is dependent on location..closer to lake or more on south end the cell signal is better. Very nice boat ramp area with parking and a dumpster (only one for entire CG). Day use beach at north end of cg is best for kayaks and other non-motorized water craft launches. Fremont Group Camp area is on the upper gravel rd just outside the main entrance to the regular Fremont CG. Group camp rate is $35 nite but camping is better suited to TT and RVs as the tent spots appear to be very limited.
