We have hosted here for two summers. This is a great campground with 12 sites, vault toilet and potable spring water at the hydrant. We worked to keep it as nice as possible. There is no electricity, cell phone service, or water/dump station. All of that is available 20 miles east on Hwy 70 in Encampment. There is no electricity, cell phone service, or water/dump station. All of that is available 20 miles east on Hwy 70 in Encampment. Starlink does work here provided you are in one of the more open campsites. Pets on leash are ok. All sites include a fire ring. Bring your own wood. The campground usually opens in mid to late June and closes at the end of October. Price is $20 per night, but if you have one of the national passes then it is $10.

Great for wildlife (plenty of birds, moose, mule dear, black bears etc.)! The beetle damage is considerable though, no surprise ⏳
