Beautiful place with lots of trails nearby. No hookups at our site but we knew that. Clean bathrooms and potable water. If you aren’t used to the altitude, be sure to acclimate first. Depending on when you go, you will need to plan to wear layers. We went in July. It can get hot during the day but cold at night. Also, if you hike around water, you will need bug spray. Very minimal campsite with a picnic table, campfire pit, and access to restrooms. Other than that it is whatever you bring with you! Simplicity is not a bad thing, really nice to keep it simple. Nice campground in the forest. During our stay very quiet and calm which was a very nice start of our three week trip in the USA. Pit toilet hadn't been emptied for a while and was not very clean. Therefore 4 stars.
