Pretty good for a night stay. Would be a great place to set up base camp while you explore the town of rock springs. Beautiful view with the Wyoming mountains in the background. We had five adults and some dogs in our group. We stayed in one of the cabins here, and found we had enough space to be comfortable and talk about the day's adventures. There's also a playground to keep youngsters entertained. Everything was well maintained, and access to amenities was straightforward. It would certainly be nice if there were some trees, shrubs, bushes... Green is noticeably lacking. But there is a hiking trail that starts on the North side of the park. All things considered, this is a great place to stay in the Rock Springs area.

Not a beautiful site, but does the job and had everything you need!

We had a great stay at the Rock Springs / Green River KOA Journey! The campground was clean, quiet, and well maintained, with easy access from the highway. Our site was level and had everything we needed for a comfortable overnight stay. It's a convenient stop for RV travelers, we'll definitely stay here again when passing through Wyoming!

The KOA is just off 80 located behind an industrial/refinery facility. It's really just a gravel lot, no grass. Any grass you may find has dog feces in it. The dog park really needs to be cleaned. I wouldn't even step inside it out of concern for my dogs exposure to all that feces. I tried to do some trails with my dog back by the long term parking. I tried to do some trails with my dog back by the long term parking. It wasn't even passable with all the dog waste absolutely everywhere. Very unsanitary and disgusting. One night I was in the woman's bathroom. 2 young boys were using the bathroom too. I didn't say anything until their dad just walks right in. Into the woman's restroom that supposedly has a security code on the door. That did not make me feel safe at all. I could have been showering. How do men have the woman's bathroom code!? When I pass through again, I won't be staying here, even if it was just for the night. The only real reason for the 1 star was it was cheap and the staff was polite.
