My wife and I traveling to Jacksonville Wyoming stopped at the Astoria boat ramp/Hot springs. On the free side of the river, not the side. We’ve never been here before and two out of three days we’ve been harassed by for service. I’ve noticed when he shows up all he wants to do is go talk to people about pain where they literally just showed up or not. Doesn’t keep the toilet cleaner or anything and my wife is a disabled veteran and it’s BS that she should have to squat over a toilet seat. He also tried accusing us of camping overnight here when we weren’t even here. And a picture of the Hot springs and a picture of the toilet that I told the forest ranger about and he still did not clean it for the second time.

this ranger station has fantastic free stickers and a fun little gift shop! i didn’t ask the ranger any questions as we were leaving town, so i can’t speak on how helpful they are, but probably a good place to stop for your Bridger-Teton adventures!

Stopped by to inquire about camping options in the area outside the parks. Their recommendations turned out to be some of the best sites we stayed in over our 14 day trek.

I went to the Ranger Station to get more info about target shooting in the surrounding forests. Mike was friendly and very knowledgeable about the various regulations.

Great public classes and facilities. Pleasant instructors. No weight/ workout room though. Maybe in the renovation?
